I woke up in a unfamiliar room. I got up and went downstairs. I saw Thomas and a man taking, so I hid behind the wall and listen to their conversation.
“Do you think it time to tell her the truth?,” the man said.
“I think you should, she deserve to know right now.”
I came out and went to them.
“What you guys talking about?,” pretending I didn’t hear their conversation.
“I think you should tell her,” Thomas said.
“Tell me what?”
“Serena, um, I’m very sorry for everything I’ve done and hope you’ll forgive me, but I’m your biological father.”
“What you taking about, your not my dad.” I look at Thomas and he sign.
“Serena he is, just trust him. He is our dad,” Thomas said.
“You knew about this already, right,” I said tearing up.
Thomas didn’t speak, but look away.
“I-I- never mind, where’s Jimmy?”
“He’s outside,” the man reply.
I walk toward the door when the man said, “one day you would believe me.”
I look at him, but continue walking. I open the door and see Jimmy. I run to him and hug him tightly.
“Serena, you okay?”
I shake my head and start crying more.
“Shh, it’s okay.”
He lead me to his car and I told him to take me to his house today.
“Jimmy, do you think the person you trust the most, hide the most secrets?”
He looks at him and reply, “sometimes it’s like that.”
I nodded and fell asleep.
We arrive at the destination and Jimmy woke me up.
“We’re here,” he said smiling.
I sit up straight and look around. My eyes widen to see his “house.”
“That’s yours ‘house’?”
“Yep, but it’s more of a mansion.”
We went out the car and he leads me in.
“Do you live by yourself?”
“No, I live with my men.”
I nodded and he lead me to a empty room.
“This would be your room, my room is down there if you need me,” he said as he points to the room to the right.
I walk in the room when my phone ring. It was Thomas. I decline it and flop to the bed.
